After 15 days of trekking, we are in Pokhara right now:
We had some steak finally after our daily serving of Dal Baht (Rice, Potato, Lentils) for over two weeks. Here some highlights:
- Both, my friend Joe and me lost about 4-10 pounds on the way, but we are working hard currently to get it back on.
- My shoes lost there soles on the second day. After we tried to repair them unsuccessfully with superglue, I walked in Joe’s shoes (which are one size to small) and got bad blisters. Finally, my good old Birkenstock sandals did the trick taking me up to 4200 meters
